I live to scale. I live by the philosophy that in order to lead the ship, you need to understand everything, from the smallest bolt through to the maneuvering envelope of the engines, and up through to the mechanics of fleet deployments and the geopolitics which lead to engagements. Hierarchy is important, but holistic understanding means that when things go sideways, you and your team can do the right thing because you planned to be in the right place with the right skills at the right time.
As a Director of Engineering, I have led the development and launch of a scalable SaaS B2B platform delivering multiple cloud products from analytics to compute-intensive PDF processing, using modern technologies such as Kubernetes and Azure IoT to provide a seamless experience for customer users, internal service, and accounting. I drove the architecture and the steady adoption of Agile processes across multiple teams located around the world.
I excel at multi-tasking — while driving the development of Kodak’s SaaS ecosystem, I also coordinated and drove the teams working on Kodak’s lines of on-prem B2B application suites, with teams running in multiple cities and countries.
